Day 4 - FIR and Spanish Food…

Friday, July 4th, 2008

Whoo.. what a day… super long day… after the morning session… Our dearest Senior Pastor brought us for lunch at a Spanish restaurant… while the kids played human monopoly…

As you can see.. our dear June just loves the camera..

Jessel too.. I was really tryin to take the kids playing the game…

June really loves the camera!

What did I tell you about the two of them? Anyway this was outside the Spanish Restaurant where we had our lunch… It’s called Tapas..

Well.. after all our hard work so far.. we were rewarded with a huge feast… man.. there was really a lot of food…

We got to fellowship with Pst Kong. Really learnt a lot from him. Got to understand why he does what he does.. and to see the real him out of the pulpit..Respect man.. Thank God for a pastor like him..

After a short break after lunch, we went back for sound check.. FIR was to perform tonight…

And of course.. took a photo with Fei-er and Ah Qing..

Yes.. see how small I make her look…

And ok.. the team found out how uncomfortable I get with people touching me… and yes.. made my life a living hell by doing exactly just that…

Tonight was campfire night..

After the lighting of the fire.. Jessel, Sean and Me headed to Shi Lin…

Yup.. my first time there.. and given my love for pasar malams.. you can imagine how happy I was..

They brought me to eat the super big Fried Chicken Chop or Ji Pai…This was the only stall I’ve seen there with a queue..

It’s all freshly made… and HUGE…

And it tastes great too.. I won’t eat the one in Singpore again anytime soon man…

We walked along and saw pet shops selling pigs and spiders..

You can check out all the pics I took on my Facebook page…

Anyway.. please pray for me.. my left shoulder has been hurting like mad from all the playing.. but yeah.. the “show” must still go on.. so yeah… it’s not exactly not all fun and enjoyment…right.. till the next update…
